PaperArtsy Challenge : Hearts part 2

So after I made the heart card inspired by Wanda Hentges (my previous post), I made a card using the card stencil with the grunge paste circles on it.

For the heart I used Smoothy heavy card, Fresco paints (little black dress and Old Gold), grunge paste and a touch of Treasure gold.
The background is Distress cardstock (red), which I stamped a script stamp and embossed in gold.

PaperArtsy Challenge : Hearts

Our latest challenge at PaperArtsy is Hearts

I was inspired by the canvas made by Wanda Henges
I made a card in a similar design, using her idea of making my own heart template, and like Wanda I put the grunge paste over the heart stencil as well, so I can make another card with the heart.

I used heavy smoothy card, and a brayer to apply Fresco Paint (Vintage Lace and Rose)
I then stamped the flower from HP1009, and masked it. Next I put the heart mask on and covered the rest of the page with grunge paste through the mini circle grid stencil.
Next I used treasure gold on the stencil circles, just a dab on each with my finger.
Next I used the reverse of the heart stencil to cover the background and sponged inside (mask still over the flowers) with Very Berry.
Finally after removing all masks, I painted the flowers with Snowflake and a touch of Rose.

Another card for the PaperArtsy challenge : Transparent Art

I used a brayer and Fresco Paint for the background  (Sky, Tinned Peas, Hyde Park, Snowflake).
I stamped JOFY30 and JOFY25 and masked them
Then I used JOFY stencil 11 with snowflake paint and stamped JOFY mini 33and ELB22 with broken china distress ink
Next some colouring in. I used more Fresco Paints for this : Guacomole, Granny Smith, Professor Plum, Lilac, Yellow Submarine, Hey Poesto, Mocha Mousse and Chocolate Pudding

I used Glossy accents on the bee (which had been stamped and cut out, then coloured with pencils)

PaperArtsy Challenge : Transparent Art

A new year, and the first PaperArtsy Challenge : Transparent art.
My card was inspired by Hazel Agnew's post.
I used Glossy Accents instead of UTEE for my transparent highlight

I used Fresco paints for the background (Nougat, Irish Cream, Chocolate Pudding and London Bus)
Then I stencilled circles with Nougat
The stamps are from JOFY25 and JOFY33.
I then painted them with Yellow Submarine and London Bus. The grass and leaves are painted with Guacamole, Tinned Peas and Hey Pesto.
