My first post!

These are wooden Advent Calendars that my Uncle made for Dave and I, that I decorated.

The wooden box is filled with match boxes, and as you take one out the bottom the rest fall down to show the next one. I numbered the (covered) matchboxes so you can see which advent day it is. There is a panel at the back that slides out to reveal the match boxes (to fill them each year). I fill mine with small chocolates.

I forgot to take a picture before I started, so the "before" picture is of a simlar one that my Uncle made for my sister.

  6. I have had the honour of trying these advent calenders out! They are just a brilliant idea and so well decorated Trish!
