It's hard not be inspired by Godelieve (Stamping Matilda), her work is amazing!
These cards are inspired by her, using the Distress Ink Background Block technique

Birthday cards
Whilst I was in Holland, I took 2 birthday cards with me, for friends there who celebrated their birthdays just after my trip.

Art Journey day in the Netherlands
Last week I spent a wonderful 4 days with my sister, Jenni. We went shopping, crafting and had a great day at Louise's Art Journey day in Sleen.
Our group made a gift for Louise, as a thank you, a frame filled with hand decorated boxes (then filled with assorted nuts). Jenni and I made 3 boxes, one each and one together. The blue sea one is mine and the roses we made together. The stamps are all Art Journey stamps.
The finished piece (and Louise), she loved it.

Battenberg Cake
I tried baking a Battenberg cake today. It was rather fun, although it's a bit wonky.
I didn't have pink food colouring, so I used red, but it came out brown... next time I'll just do vanilla and chocolate! Tastes fine though.
