For the last 2 weeks the challenge over at PaperArtsy has been Sprays.
I don't have many sprays, as they have never really featured in my cards, but I do have some Tattered Angel sprays in the back of the cupboard...
These are not as vibrant as some of the ones used today, so I decided to use them over the paint background as more of a shimmer.
Following Sara Naumann's recent post I used Fresco paints (Pumpkin Soup, Paprika and London Bus) and brayered them onto the card. I then sprayed a lot of Tattered Angels Gold, copper and autumn leaves and dried it off. It really changed the feel of the card, making it feel almost tacky.
I stamped using Snowflake and Mini 44, Mini 22 and with grey ink Mini 72
The main stamps are JOFY 23 and JOFY 24 and JOFY mini 33
The sentiment is ELB03
The flowers are painted with Fresco paints in London Bus, Claret, Tango, Yellow Submarine and Hey Pesto

The tricky things about sprays is showing the sparkle in pictures! But I'm sure those glimmer mists have added some to your card! Lovely! ~Leandra
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Trish, I looked at the shimmer and that is a lovely effect on top of the Fresco colours.
