Battenberg Cake

I tried baking a Battenberg cake today. It was rather fun, although it's a bit wonky.
I didn't have pink food colouring, so I used red, but it came out brown... next time I'll just do vanilla and chocolate! Tastes fine though.

I made this card for a friend in The Netherlands who has had a bad accident.

Some Polka Dots

This card is for my cousin's daughter, and it is my entry into this week's Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge, which is Polka Dots.

Jewelrey

I haven't made any jewelry for a while (mainly because it was all packed away for our house moves), but I have unpacked it now, and thought I'd try a necklace and bracelet in copper and blue that I saw in a shop and loved the look of.




I am very pleased with the result.

Birthday card and Craft Barn Challenge

This is a birthday card for my cousin's young son, and also an entry for the Craft Barn Wishing Well Challenge # 1 using pigment pencils.
I used Prismacolor pencils and Sansador to blend. The stamp is Magnolia and the papers are Basic Grey (Oh baby boy).
