Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry 101 Class : Day 9

Whew, nearly there - just one more day to go. For Day 9 we played with Perfect Pearls, and sadly I couldn't get the photo to show the amazing pearl sheen over the cards/stamping. Trust me, it's there! Once again I haven't completed the cards, just done the techniques.
  • Perfect Distress Mist Technique
  • Perfect Distress Technique
  • Perfect Splatter Distress Technique

Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry 101 Class : Day 8

I'm falling behind again... so for Day 8 I have done the techniques, but not finished the cards yet.
  • Paint Dabber Resist Technique
  • Crackle Paint Resist Technique
  • Shattered Stains Technique

I didn't think the shattered stain technique of the snowman showed up as well in the above picture, so I zoomed inon the snowman on his own. I love the effect! He is a die cut on Grungepaper.

Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry 101 Class : Day 7

Gosh, my craft room has never seen such activety over such a short space of time!

Yes, I know I have missed Day 6 out, but it was all about the new product Distress Markers, and as I don't have any (yet...) I can't do the homework. I did watch the whole lesson though, I promise!
So onto Day 7 (I've nearly caught up, as today is Day 8!)

I loved all 3 techniques in the world of embossing, and had great fun with them.
As always, the first picture is the 3 techniques, the second picture is where I have created a card with each of them.
I have not yet made a card with the clock (and sadly the technique does not show up on my photo - but it looks great IRL). I have just run out of ideas for today!

The English stamps are Indigo Blue (and a big favourite at the moment)
The butterflies are Australian : Stamp-It (which I bought in the Netherlands at Art Journey)
  • Nostalgic Batik Technique
  • Rusted Enamel Technique
  • Distress Powder Resist Technique

Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry 101 Class : Day 5

Another day of Tim Holtz heaven! I have finished Day 5 and below are my 3 techniques. The first photo is the technique, then the second picture is the finished cards (not much difference this time, just matting and mounting).
I can't believe I am making so many cards - almost 3 a day! I am loving it though, it's such a great course (Thank you Tim!)
My stamps are a mix of Art Jounrney, PaperArtsy, Crafty Individuals and of course some of Tim's own stamps!
  • Stained Kraft Resist Technique
  • Stamping with Stains Technique
  • Marbled Stains Technique

Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry 101 Class : Day 4 (1)

Another day of Tim Holtz class done, and great fun. This photo is the technique, but I haven't decided how to make them into cards yet.

Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry 101 Class : Day 3

I am catching up fast! I have now completed Day 3 of the class, but can't do the other 2 techniques as I don't have the equipment. Never mind, here are 2 cards using the first technique.
  • Alcohol Ink Agates Technique

Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry 101 Class : Day 2

I have joined the Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry 101 online class (a few days late, but I should catch up). So this is my "homework" for Day 2
The first pictures are the 3 techniques I learnt (unfinished)
  • Blended Spritz & Flick Technique
  • Brushless Watercolor Technique
  • Wrinkle-Free Distress Technique

Here they are again, now completed as cards
