New semester over at the PaperArtsy blog, and it's the turn of Alison Bomber to inspire us this week.
I have chosen her first challenge, Lucky Number 3 (and made a card as always).
I really enjoyed making this card - all the layers and textures are amazing! Thank you Alison - I am certainly looking forward to the rest of your week!
I have used Fresco Paints in Snowflake, Vanilla and Haystack.
Some Tim Holtz tissue wrap, then painted over them again to blend them in.
Mini Harlequin stencil with Hey Pesto and Tinned Peas, and clear embossing powder over the top (inspired idea Alison!)
The stamps are HP1008, HP1009 and Mini 96, and I've stamped in Adirondack Stream and Archival Sepia.
The stencilled circles are done using some sequin waste, and distress inks Faded Jeans, Tumbled Glass and Broken China.

This works so beautifully, Helen - I love the central image, and the birds picked out in blue to echo it. The sepia flourishes are yummy too... so happy you had fun!

Those harlequins work so well with the little birds and grasses; a lovely card! I love that central image too. Julie Ann.

ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous, Trish! I really struggle with card-making and this makes me think of a canvas transferred into a card!
