One of the guest designers over on PaperArtsy this week is Teresa Abajo (all the way from Australia!), and her card and ATC inspired me to make this card.
First I used grunge paste through the Mini Harlequin stencil, then I painted the background with Sky Fresco Paint.
I sprayed the background with Spiced Marmalade distress re-inker, diluted with water, and added some Brass Treasure Gold to highlight some of the diamonds.
The stamps is from Ink and the Dog At Home plate 5

Your lovely background is a perfect medium to carry the image you've chosen. I like the details of the grunge paste with the paint and ink and treasure gold - very pretty!

ReplyDeleteLove the stamp and all the elements are placed beautifully. Can tell that it is created skillfully.
ReplyDeleteLove this Trish! Thanks for playing along.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, love the metal embellishments instead of buttons, more masculine I think!
