I didn't get around to it last week, but I am right here ready for this!
Guest Designer Helen Chilton has been creating some fab projects using Portfolio Water Soluble Oil Pastels. I have a set already (phew) and they are such great fun to work with.
So here is my card: the background is the Pastels (smudged with a finger), then the "sun rays" are created with the Mini Harlequin stencil and Fresco Acrylic Paints (which I am so in love with), Claret and Haystack, using the "bump" technique (see Leandra's video here).
Some background stamping with Distress and Adirondack inks, and the main stamps are from Hot Pick 1110.
Your card looks amazing Trish, great blending, & I love the stencilling too!

Beautiful blending of the colours Trish, love the dramatic "bumping", thanks for joining in the PA fun!
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful Trish, I love these blended colours, and the bumping is fab xx
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely - love the matte paints over the pastels.

Super card, like the bumped harlequin pattern
ReplyDeleteWell done trash. Looks fab!
ReplyDeleteI'm giggling a bit over Leandra's typo, but agree that your card is very well done, Trish! I'm having fun seeing how others use the PaperArtsy stamps and like how you placed the buildings here. Pretty sky colors too.
ReplyDeleteHi Trish, love that bump technique, looks fab. Great use of colours and textures with the stencils and gesso. The oil pastels look like fun, smudging them with your finger gives a great effect. Got to try that out....super card!
